We believe that truthful information, handled engagingly, helps to guide society in the right direction. The project is defined by the following values:
In the autumn of 2021, a group of history experts and descendants of the Holocaust survivors from Slovakia decided to build a YouTube channel World History, whose main goal is to communicate the audiovisual content of the Holocaust to the general public. Its official launch was December 1, 2021. Since the beginning of 2022, it started to create its first own historical micro-documentaries focused on World War II, which met with a very positive response.
The YouTube channel is in close contact with the Holocaust survivors, as well as with museums and international organizations all around the world that focus on the topics of World War II and the Holocaust.
The production of the channel's content requires an enormous commitment of experts and large investments. Therefore, to finance the project, the founders are working with Notus Omnis, a non-profit organization whose goal is to produce educational content for World History YouTube channel and this website.
The creation of educational micro-documents requires a huge effort of historical experts, text creators, translators, and graphic designers, along with large expenses related to the purchase of important materials (videos, photos, licenses, etc.). All materials are legally obtained without violating third-party licensing rights. Help us to make World History even better. With your support, we will be able to produce more educational videos and deliver historical facts in an engaging format.
